MULTICOM, INC IN GROWTH MODE -- ACQUIRES BURKE ENTERPRISES, INC.

PHOENIX, AZ June 4, 2008 -- Multicom, Inc., a 20-year-old Phoenix-based telecom contracting firm, successfully completed the strategic acquisition of Burke Enterprises, Inc. of Huntington Beach, CA. Burke Enterprises, operating successfully for 30 years, is an acknowledged leader among Enterprise Satellite installation companies in the United States; their acquisition will allow for the expansion of Multicom’s three primary Business Divisions into California, Nevada, and Hawaii.

Rising from its humble start in 1987 as a contractor for the local cable TV companies, Multicom, has grown to include an Alarm Division, an Enterprise Satellite Installation Division (covering 4 states and all of Canada), in addition to maintaining its original Cable Division.

“It just makes sense to expand into a business that we know so well and have already been in for 20 years. The shortest distance between two points, in terms of increasing Multicom’s revenue significantly, was this acquisition.” Said Dan Gibbons ,CEO, of Multicom and Burke Enterprises.

Tom Burke, the retiring CEO of Burke Enterprises said, “In today’s marketplace, the concentration of population bases are critical to being able to route a days work both efficiently and profitably. Multicom has really only ever had Phoenix as a substantial market. Adding the lucrative California market will be a catalyst for Multicom to grow exponentially!”

Gibbons expects a smooth transition as many of the staff members of both companies have worked together on projects before the merger.
